Working with the design team at San Francisco startup Zaarly, I crafted these expressive, textural profile images for weekly promotion of marketplace sellers. Appearing on the Zaarly homepage, these images showed the sellers in their working environment, or offered visual clues about their skill or craft. (see more seller images)

This illustration forms part of a tech company's main pitch to their site visitors. Working in on this project in conjunction with Ronnie Taylor Consulting , I chose clean, minimalist art that still felt relevant in a "techy" setting. More designs from this project…

I made this piece while reflecting on the value and interest of small, overlooked objects. This little seed pod is a universe all its own. Of interest beyond philosophy, no black or brown pigments were used to create this piece. It's layer upon layer of red, blue, and yellow.

Who is So White?

Hi. I'm Rebecca White, the brains behind this lithe organization. I have plenty of creative talent. There's the fine art-derived illustration work, and the graphic design offerings that span print and the web. Need a logo? A mobile site? What about some old school printed stuff? Copywriting?

Beyond the traditional creative endeavors, I've entered a new and important arena - freelance project management. While most creatives require some level of project management support, many of them, especially freelancers and small companies, aren't interested in a full time hire. Lucky for you, I'm a freelancer myself, and I have years of experience in project management with creatives. Guess what? I maintain an incredible network of other freelance creatives - so I can source talent for pretty much any project or need.

I mentioned that I'm fluent in Spanish and English? Just reminding you that I have your growing-Hispanic-population communication needs covered.

On a personal note... I'm a classically-trained musician; reader of at least 3 books at a time; photography dilettante; passionate dancer of all music Latin! I'm ambitious when it comes to cooking vegetarian, and for me, there's not much better than a day spent with my love, traveling along Mississippi back roads on our motorcycle, Libre.

Want to talk business?

I'm available for hire on a freelance basis for design, illustration, writing, and project management jobs. So let's start a conversation.
